California State Fire Marshal certificate issuedĬA State Fire Marshal FSTEP certified course is designed to equip the student with the techniques and methods for using rope, webbing, hardware, friction devices, litters in low angle rescue situations.This course provides information to identify confined spaces and permit required confined spaces, evaluate hazardous atmospheres, determine adequate levels of personal protection, techniques needed for hazard mitigation, identify basic operational positions, understand responsibility set by CAL-OSHA, and prepare for confined space rescue operations.
